Aisling B a was born on 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. The comedian appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is also known as Aisling bea Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan, is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Following appearances in bits on a number of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea began her stand-up comedian in 2011. From 2012 on she was in sitcoms and sketch comedy. After she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear frequently in panel shows. From 2016 to 2017 she served as a captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant for the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sister named Sinead. She became only the second female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. The surname of Bea is in honor of her father who passed away. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who took his own life when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she was thirteen. Bea adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father. She published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea's mom Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey, was the one responsible for taking care of her and Sinead. Their family was enthralled by races as well as horses. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the racing industry wasn't for her.
